Where the heck have I been…

It’s been a while since I made a peep. I’ve been pretty busy shedding an old life and building a new one. No more Kansas; Pennsylvania, now. No more Lawrence; Williams Township, now. And there is now a different house on a different ridge, this time quite a lot higher and about two blocks from the Delaware River. You know, the one that Washington crossed, though that is about 30 miles downstream.

Life is better all the way around. A new partner in life named Laura. A new dawg, maybe an English Setter, in the not-too-distant future. Three acres to mow, which keeps me on the lawn tractor a lot of the time in the summer. Books and computers everywhere, as has always been the case. A lot less stress, which is much healthier. I’m back to cooking a lot, which is marvelous. Everything is better that it has been in many, many years.

How about you?

  1. hooray! Things are about the same for me as for you! Except the cooking part. And Kansas. And my life partner’s name is Michael.

  2. Will we be seeing photos of you standing at the helm of a lawn tractor as Ms. Laura tries to mow cross the Delaware?

I’m really happy for both of you.

  3. I’m so happy for both of you! You’re both wonderful people who deserve nothing but happiness. xx
